Worth stating because people assume otherwise: a pallet leaving Lille or Paris reaches our facility about as easily as one leaving Glasgow. The Channel is a customs line, not a logistical obstacle, and freight from northern France is frequently cheaper than from the north of Scotland. If you're in the Hauts-de-France or Île-de-France, the transport maths works comfortably in your favour.
Paris is one of Europe's four big data centre markets, and the enterprise estate around it — banking, insurance, industry — retires steadily. Lyon and Marseille both have real volume too, Marseille increasingly so as a subsea landing hub.
Servers from Gen9 upward, enterprise storage and arrays, enterprise drives in bulk, plus networking and racks as part of a clearance. As always the freight rewards value density — populated arrays and well-specified servers, rather than empty chassis.
You invoice us; we pay in euro. For a French VAT-registered business it's an export of goods to the UK, handled exactly as your comptabilité handles any other equipment sale to a British customer.
Freight is agreed per consignment and shown inside the offer, so the number you see is the number you keep. Customs and import VAT are ours, on the British side, and already priced in.
Leave them in — they're generally the most valuable part of a storage lot, and pulling them costs you money for no benefit. All data-bearing media is sanitised to NIST SP 800-88 Purge with a serial-by-serial certificate, included in the purchase. Where policy demands media never leaves your site, we'll price the lot without the drives instead.
